ABOUT AIDA

BEFORE

...Now, the last year in Strathmore, sixth grade. first of all I met this girl called Alice I.
and we became friends. second of all Mrs Batis, our teacher was such a nice person and a
good teacher too. Also I got braces! The reason I needed them was because I had overbite,
my teeth were not very straight, and there was not enough room in my mouth for some teeth
to grow in. When i first got them my mom kept on saying to me, show the two thousand
dollar smile that your dad just bought for you.
Also one day i decide i wanted to be a patrol so i went and asked Mr. Hage if I could be one,
and he said yes. So I went and took a patrol belt and then I went back to my class and told
my friends. A few months later Mr. Hage told all patrols that we were going to a patrol
picnic on Thursday, May 16. Anyway I was all excited when I heard that and waited for the
chosen day to come. but when I woke up on Thursday, my heart sank, it was raining!
Even though it rained all day we still had fun. My friends, Arundathi, Ann, heather, Elicia,
and I went on almost all the rides. It was really fun!
On June 4, 1985. we had our graduation and a sixth grade dance. It was fun. We had pizza and
lots of other good things to eat.
Then June 10-14 all sixth graders went to camp! It was such fun! learning about nature and
being able to know what the weather was going to be for the next day was fun too.
Camp was really a great experience for me!
Well this is the conclusion of my life from when I was born up to sixth grade.
I wonder what new things the rest of my life will bring.
